DoseTrack Medical Disclaimer
A. Short version (in-app)
DoseTrack is a personal log and reminder tool. It is not medical advice and does not tell you what to take or when. Follow your healthcare professional's instructions and your medication's official labeling. Reminders may fail, so don't rely on them alone. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
B. Full version (website and legal pages)
1. Not medical advice
DoseTrack is for personal record keeping and reminders only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a medical device. Nothing in the app, including charts, trend messages, streaks, badges, reminders, or notices, is a recommendation about any medication, dose, schedule, injection site, or treatment decision.
2. Talk to your healthcare professional
Always ask your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional about your medication, dose, schedule, missed doses, side effects, and any change to your treatment. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you saw, or did not see, in the app.
3. Information in the app comes from you
The app shows what you enter. We do not verify your entries against a prescription or medical record. Dose range notices in the form are only data-entry checks, such as catching a typing mistake. They are not dosing guidance, and a value that passes the check is not confirmed as safe or correct for you.
4. Schedules and reminders
The app calculates upcoming dates from the schedule you set. These dates are for convenience and may not match your prescription. Reminders can be late, missing, or silenced by device settings. Keep your own safeguards, and follow your prescriber's instructions if a dose is missed.
5. Side effects and emergencies
Logging a side effect in the app does not report it to anyone and does not trigger medical help. If you have severe or worrying symptoms, contact your healthcare professional or local emergency services right away. If you believe you have taken too much of a medication, contact your local poison control center or emergency number immediately.
6. No promise of results
We make no claim or guarantee about health, weight, or treatment outcomes from using the app. Streaks and badges reflect only your logging habits.
7. Medication names
Medication names, brand names, and trademarks shown in the app belong to their owners and are used only to describe what you track. Their use does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, any manufacturer.
